About the camp
A week of making music together.
Each summer, young string players spend a week playing in small ensembles, coached by Lauren and a warm team of guest faculty. Campers are grouped by age and experience, so beginners and advanced players alike find music that stretches them and friends who love the same thing they do.
Mornings open with a short faculty performance and move through coached rehearsal blocks, with a snack break in between. The week builds toward a relaxed final concert for family and friends — a chance for campers to share what they've put together.

A typical morning
- 9:00 – 9:15 AM Faculty performance
- 9:20 – 10:10 AM Ensemble coaching — Block 1
- 10:20 – 11:10 AM Ensemble coaching — Block 2
- 11:10 – 11:30 AM Snack break
- 11:35 – 12:25 PM Ensemble coaching — Block 3
